A Prologue to the Famous Poem 'First People' by Wayne Visser

Bond of dusk and sand,
Where humanity had first put their feet on land.
Where the rainbow’s glory is seen
and nature is pleasant and green.
Where man has seen the Earth
and the creator has seen its first birth.
The first people as they are rightly called,
When they land on the Earth, they aren’t quite appalled.
As they are a part of God’s creation,
They will commence a new generation.
