Read the conversation between an old man (a commoner) and a royal Prince and answer the questions
O Noble Prince, May Your Light Guide Everyone
Old Man (A Commoner): O noble prince, I’ve walked this land so
long,
I’ve seen both right and many a wrong.
Tell me, son, what makes a prince so true,
Is it the gold he wears or the deeds he’ll do?
Prince: Good sir, I wear no crown of gold,
No treasure can make a heart so bold.
A prince is royal not for riches or fame,
But for respect, kindness, and a humble name.
Old Man: O, royal prince, you speak with wisdom rare,
But can you live it, can you bear
To guide the weak and help the poor,
And care for others, forevermore?
Prince: Yes, elder, I will do my best,
To serve with honor, to give the rest.
I’ll show compassion, patience, and care,
I’ll be generous, just, and always fair.
Old Man: And courage, boy, when dangers rise?
Will you stay brave, will you be wise?
A prince’s light is not in gold,
But in the strength of the heart he holds.
Prince: I’ll stand for truth, defend the right,
Speak with honesty, and act with might.
I’ll guide the lost, I’ll heal the pain,
I’ll share my joy, and ease all strain.
Old Man: You see, young prince, it’s not the crown,
It’s how you act, not what’s handed down.
Humility, respect, and loyalty too,
These are the qualities that make a prince true.
Prince: I will remember, wise old man,
To lead with righteousness and justice wherever I can.
No wealth or riches will guide my way,
But courage, kindness, and what I say.
Old Man: Then shine your light for all to see,
Be a prince who cares for you and me.
With wisdom, patience, and a generous heart,
You’ll play your noble, royal part.
Prince: Thank you, sir, your words are clear,
I promise to serve all those near.
May my light guide both great and small,
With fairness, respect, and love for all.
Old Man: O noble prince, may your light guide
everyone,
And may your life be like the sun.
Royal not by wealth, but by what is right,
A true prince shining in day and night.
O Noble Prince, May Your Light Guide All
Old Man: O prince, I’ve walked this land so long,
I’ve seen both right and many a wrong.
Tell me, boy, what makes a prince true—
Is it gold, or the good deeds you do?
Prince: Good sir, no crown or treasure bold
Can measure the heart or make one hold
Respect, fairness, and integrity,
A prince is made by his deeds, you see.
Old Man: Remember, son, history shows
Many kings let their power impose.
Treat all fairly, guard what is right,
And never let your strength give fright.
Prince: I will serve with courage and care,
Show justice, kindness, and always be fair.
I’ll guide the lost, defend the weak,
And let my actions, not riches, speak.
Old Man: Then shine your light for all to see,
A true prince is noble in humility.
With wisdom, fairness, and a generous heart,
You’ll honor your place, playing your part.
