Words

Unspoken Truths

Mistakes will happen, and trust will fade,
But silence is the price we’ve paid.
Words once spoken, they can't return —
Some things are lessons we must learn.

The heart may ache, the soul may cry,
But not all truths should reach the sky.
Sometimes it’s better to keep the peace,
Let certain secrets find their release.

We break, we fall, we hurt, we mend,
But some things don’t need to be said, my friend.
For in the quiet, we often find
The strength to leave some things behind.
