It's Christmas Day in the City

It's Christmas time in the city,
Where the lights shine soft and bright,
Streets are buzzing with laughter,
As snowflakes dance in the light.

Windows glow with joy and wonder,
Shoppers smile with hearts aglow,
Carols rise on the winter air,
As the city's spirit grows.

The tree stands tall, its lights a-glimmer,
Crowds gather ‘round with faces bright,
A world of dreams beneath the stars,
With peace and hope as the light.

In every corner, warmth is shared,
In every heart, a light is found,
It's Christmas time in the city,
Where love and joy abound.

Though the world may turn so swiftly,
And time may slip away,
This season brings us all together,
In love, on Christmas Day.
